well it's been pretty nonstop since uni ended! oh it's so good not having to study.
been working.
going out for dinner.
catching up with people.
went ice skating.
played uno.
played monopoly.
played taboo.
oh and yesterday josh and i took this little one to the zoo... hehehe.

♥ my 19th birthday
x woke up and mum gave me a hug
x followed mum to the city and went to get brekky at maccas alone
x got a bacon & egg mcvalue meal... and the paper for free xD
x walked around for a little bit
x got my free birthday boost juice - strawberry squeeze this time, thought it was too early for something sour like lemon lol
x withdrew some money, picked up some bbt for josh & kavin, headed towards the bus stop that heads to uni
x saw about three fire engines at the underground train stn, what was going on! *googles*
x took the bus to uni
x met up with josh & kavin to give them their bubble tea
x kavin bought me a new flask and a pack of highlights =D
x went to my 2203 lecture and sat nxt to david
x met up with josh, and spent an hour fighting with him on ground floor of the science library
x met up with ange, chris, aaron & steven for cupcakes in the ref
x went to my 2212 lecture and sat next to christine, gab & david....... almost fell asleep.
x gave up on the lecture and went to meet josh ange and aaron at reid cafe, who were playing big2 with $7.95 Dora the Explorer cards
x looked up directions to carousel from uni, mel joins us to play cards
x the game ends, josh aaron & i head to the car
x after dropping aaron home we head to carousel to catch a movie because hoyts give u a free tix on ur bday xD
x we bawled our eyes during 'the last song'......... ahaha, nice movie, but a bit too depressing for a birthday i think
x we head into the city to get some dinner at outback jacks
x the food was alright, not as good as i thought it would be =( my bad, since i picked where we'd eat. i was really craving some good ribs too! but they weren't that great. much prefer lackers or tony romas
x entree, chips with bacon and cheese thingo, tasted good =D
x mixed grill and dingo's delight (chicken & rib combo)
x was SOOO full after dinner, didn't end up going to san churros like planned
x went home instead
x dad gave me a hug
x we watched pokemon season 10 diamond & pearl .... LOL
x josh fell asleep while watching xD

♥ quick photo update

this was the day she got a parking fine at 4:27pm :( because it was restricted parking area from 4:15pm - 6:30pm

josh & i have been eating out lunch at matilda bay lately, its so pretty.

dropped by nigs church for his yg then went out to eat after
(notice he's wearing my ring ahaha, so he can match with josh foreveRrrrrrrr. he couldn't take it off too ahaha.)
he made me eat the chilli. i almost died.
dropped by the french cafe thingo near uni with lucy (from my maths class) inbetween class
had a choc eclair and a hot choc
oh and did you hear someone died in mirrabooka? kinda sad really =(
oh and i got pulled up by the cops while driving nigs car back from dinner, and i was totally freaking out cauz i didnt have p plates up. but found out they weren't pulling me up - they were just telling me to uturn because the road was blocked xD....... but then i stalled in front of them =(... and they laughed at me.

♥ study breakk
so today i went to church.. the went to hjs for lunch with chris
when i was ordering 2 bacon deluxes however, i forgot to ask for one without cheese.. and chris hates such cheese... so as you can see, he resorted to scrapiing it all off with a spoon. two layers of it haha.
got some pretty decent study done in teaching room 2 (after getting kicked out of a study room we didn't book...) ahhh the world of stats..
by the time we took a break, kongs and even the japanese place was closed... so ended up getting my green tea icecream from the university asian restaurant. it actually wasn't too bad... pretty pricey though, $4.50! but for two scoops.. i guess it is more than the lil tubs... it was just kinda icey.
so far the one from kongs is the best :)

i am not particularly happy that when you organise something to be on a particular date to accomodate for someones timetable, and they say they're coming, but don't end up coming, without any notice for really pathetic reasons, and don't even let us know they're not coming, until WE call them.
disorganised people fustrate me.

♥ aussie day recap
the berry listerine isn't too bad. it's definately made for kids though. the taste is very cordial like.
yesterday i went shopping with the bf. HMMMMMM. it's difficult because i want him to come shopping with me so he can try on the things i want to buy him (so i know they fit / he likes them etc) but he's very particular when it comes to shopping. he will only buy the things he needs... and he also tries to convince me to do the same. which is GREAT for SAVING. but i like the spend once in a while too :(
although. since i heard wedding cost around $40k, then yes i really should be saving huh?
i forgot to talk about australia day in my blog.
australia day was a very full on day for me. it started off with a VERY early morning. to reach josh's place by 8am. i drove there with dad to clock up more hours HEHE.
we headed to his parent's australian citizenship ceremony :) which was outdoors, it was quite nice.

then after everyone went back to his place. and we fell asleep. haha. we were in the lounge room watching tennis, and we fell asleep on the floor. i was sooo tiredd. me + early mornings do not go!
then his mum wanted to go cottesloe beach. it's kinda funny cauz the boys were complaining that no one wanted to go lol, but we all did in the end.

now, you see. i had only brought clothes for the ceremony because i didn't know we were going to the beach! so i chucked on one of josh's shirts and sport shorts and we actually went into the water.
so yes. imagine. an asian girl. with a slightly baggy tshirt and long bball shorts jumping into the water at the beach. yuuuup i must have looked super silly ahaha. not only that, the clothes totally soaked up water, and it became really heavy and hard to move haha.
cotts was having that cool inflatable havianna thong thing, you could see them all over the beach. it was pretty awesome. and despite being dressed like a tool, and not wearing any suncream, and being there for less than an hour, it was actually not too bad.

so anyways. got home at around 4ish, then at about 6ish headed off to the foreshore for the fireworks :)
got to have a good play around with the functions on my camera...
yeah, the fireworks this year were kinda different. well to be honest i was in melb last aust day, so my memory isn't too good. but it was very much more spread out in a sense... like wider. instead of just having two or three.. it was like between 4 to 8 in a line... i heard the organisers use to do sydney's fireworks, which would explain it.
there were some pretty cool ones, like lolly shaped and heart shaped too.
but yes, pictures can only say so much, u had to be there to experience it.
all in all, australia day was a good day. very tiring but good :)

♥ a date
well today i had a date with the boyfriend :)
he picked me up from work and then came back to my place. i had a shower, then we left to BURSWOOD!
walking past the parks in burswood
we had dinner at carvers, and walked past all the fancy casino stuff on the way haha.
the pork was good! and i really liked the soup they had today. too bad the chocolate icecream machine wasn't working :(
josh, very happy that i was taking a photo of him while eating, as you can see
after that we headed to the outdoor cinema to watch the time travellers wife...
it was kindaa rushed because i knew it would be packedd, so yeah got there just after 7:30 and it was yes. packed haha. i think i overheard the lady at the counter say there was like 400 people.
we eventually found a spot to the side where we placed a rug and opened up my sleeping bag to use as a blanket.
and yes it was nice, even though my boyfriend fell asleep for more than half the movie ahaha. and by fall asleep, i mean seriously fall asleep! lol. poor boyy, he was so tired.
back at my place and still sleepy, squishing mr gollywog
and then we came back to my place, and he tried on the two shirts and pair of shorts i got him, and they fit perfectly, so i'm quite happy about that. but i should have probably given that to him before we went to burswood (because he was in his work uniform the whole night lol, and it was so hot... nawws)

♥ AR2 & monopoly
wow, u know i've been busy when i haven't blogged much. lol.
got home today and just totally konked out for a good four hours. even skipped dinner tonight.
i played a full game of monopoly today. first time. it was me josh andrew erik peixin monica. i was meant to drop by the beach for eriks bday but he called me to say they were leaving early instead so they dropped by. josh got bankrupt first, then me peixin mon erik teamed up against andrew... and in the end we still lost LOL. sigh.
things felt different today. could be because i was super tired. i can't exactly pin point the reason. but it wasn't the same.
before monopoly we went for dimsum after church. matt and andrew are pretty untalkative haha. then we dropped by the shops to get justin a bday present. poor andrew wanted to go home but josh made him come.
the amazing race was yesterday. haha i think thats what tired me out. nig's seatbelt was broken, and we just had to stop in traffic right next to the cops with speeding cameras who noticed. $500, 4 demerit points. uber painful. we ended up like 13th or 15th or something.. out of like 17 or 20. soooooooo. pretty bad x) but oh wells.
work again tomorrow. and eye appointment just before that. went to look for black satin flats at shoe rack the other day and they didnt have my size. found a pair in target but still no size =[ sigh such fail.
i've decided to get baptised on saturday. everything seemss to be falling into place. i hope my dad comes. u're welcome to come too :) ask for details.
anyways thats it for now, i'm still tired for some reason.

♥ a seventy thirty start
well today i decided to get OUT of the house.
i woke up at 7:30pm... yes... SEVEN THIRTY... just to take the bus to go see my boyfriend. what dedication!
i don't even wake up that early for uni. haha. totally got my priorities straight *rolls eyes*
bumped into av chris and eileen in the city and joined them for lunch. haha, it was quite a carefree arvo randomly walking around city and harbor town... ahhh exam free-ness feels so awesome.
haha, chris at hi-mart, we went there after takas to look for icecream,
and saw this new energy drink "LOL"
eileen facinated by some of the crazy toys at dicksmith xD

♥ i miss it.
he won my heart over...
with his long letters, sweet emails, thoughtful words.
with his funny (but oh so corny) jokes and child like happiness / excitement.
the first few months, we wanted to spend as much time as we could together, which wasn't much, circumstances permit.
he'd write me emails about how he was going to plan all these outings for us while i was on tour.
we went to the beach, on my stopover at perth during tour. we went to hillaries on vallies day. we went to freo during out long break, in the first few weeks of uni. we went ice skating before he went to america (quite last minute).
the picnic at the park never happened. nor did the mandurah trip.
but it's okay. our relationship isn't about outings. it's more than that.
but it doesn't mean i'm not disappointed.
that he no longer plans anything, and i find myself doing most of it.
that he's no longer as romantic as he was when he was winning me my heart over.
that he's content, just seeing me at the everyday things. like uni. church. and not really anywhere else.
ugh, long term relationships. because this is my longest, i will struggle with these things i think.
but i'm guessing their normal.
the novelty wears off huh? the newness. the butterfly feelings. the melting heart. the excessive bursts of joy and happiness. the heartfelt smss. the surprises. the fun teasing thats not the mean type. the focus on the how wonderful u are (and not how much u need to change). the innocent kind of fun.
i don't demand things. i don't like to. i am content. i love him.
but it doesn't mean i don't miss how it use to be. all those little things. the ones that make me feel special and loved. it's not really important huh, but i miss it anyways.
P.S. that second person on my use-to-hate list, started talking to me today. pretty cool because i wasn't sure how i was going to strike a conversation with her. but i did leave some fb comments to break the ice. and she started the convo asking help abt some uni stuff. pretty cool. thats two down so far, and i can't really think of anyone else at the moment, so thats pretttyy goood.

creme brulee again, but for some reason they got it in a teacup haha : tina, jamie and lewi's dessert
