♥ aussie day recap

the berry listerine isn't too bad. it's definately made for kids though. the taste is very cordial like.

yesterday i went shopping with the bf. HMMMMMM. it's difficult because i want him to come shopping with me so he can try on the things i want to buy him (so i know they fit / he likes them etc) but he's very particular when it comes to shopping. he will only buy the things he needs... and he also tries to convince me to do the same. which is GREAT for SAVING. but i like the spend once in a while too :(

although. since i heard wedding cost around $40k, then yes i really should be saving huh?

i forgot to talk about australia day in my blog.

australia day was a very full on day for me. it started off with a VERY early morning. to reach josh's place by 8am. i drove there with dad to clock up more hours HEHE.

we headed to his parent's australian citizenship ceremony :) which was outdoors, it was quite nice.

then after everyone went back to his place. and we fell asleep. haha. we were in the lounge room watching tennis, and we fell asleep on the floor. i was sooo tiredd. me + early mornings do not go!

then his mum wanted to go cottesloe beach. it's kinda funny cauz the boys were complaining that no one wanted to go lol, but we all did in the end.

now, you see. i had only brought clothes for the ceremony because i didn't know we were going to the beach! so i chucked on one of josh's shirts and sport shorts and we actually went into the water.

so yes. imagine. an asian girl. with a slightly baggy tshirt and long bball shorts jumping into the water at the beach. yuuuup i must have looked super silly ahaha. not only that, the clothes totally soaked up water, and it became really heavy and hard to move haha.

cotts was having that cool inflatable havianna thong thing, you could see them all over the beach. it was pretty awesome. and despite being dressed like a tool, and not wearing any suncream, and being there for less than an hour, it was actually not too bad.

so anyways. got home at around 4ish, then at about 6ish headed off to the foreshore for the fireworks :)

got to have a good play around with the functions on my camera...

yeah, the fireworks this year were kinda different. well to be honest i was in melb last aust day, so my memory isn't too good. but it was very much more spread out in a sense... like wider. instead of just having two or three.. it was like between 4 to 8 in a line... i heard the organisers use to do sydney's fireworks, which would explain it.
