♥ shoes, suncream and flowers
well today i met up with joshfu for brekky - dimsum and then we hit harbor after to do a bit of shopping
i bought my secret santa present for danielle's christmas party (so happy with the present *big smile*)
and bought myself a top and two pairs of shoes for an absolute bargain.
originally i bought this pair of canvas laced white shoes thinking i'd bring them to cambo.. but they're white.. and i kinda like them.... and i don't know if i want to bring them there to get dirty anymore =[
we actually ended up shopping for quite a while (i didn't realize) and then i had to rush to babysitting while josh rushed to work (i think he ended up being late.. oops)
zeke today was quite good. not as active as last time *PHEW* haha and he warmed up to me quite quickly
we went to the park after grace had left.. and he wouldn't wear his hat! he kept taking it off..
and when i tried to put suncream on his face.. he kept asking for MOREEE and MOREEE suncream, pointing and trying to grab the suncream bottle lol...

anyways he is quite the giggler. when he was on the swings and i tickled him everytime he reached where i was standing he'd giggle.. and when we were playing pikaboo on the playground with the walls and stuff... he is quite a bundle of laughter that one...
ahh but when huy came home. he was so excited! as huy swung him around and tickled him, he let out such a uncontrollable loud laugh/giggle which was super duper cute! that laugh he let out... it was amazing! the kind that reflects such immense joy and happiness. it was such a pretty sight *sigh*.
picked up mum and came home to a beautiful bunch of flowers from the boyfriend for our *counts* twentytwo months.

on the way home from picking mum up i had a splitting headache. i think it might be from the lack of sleep, dehydration or maybe i'm getting sick.
so yes, early night for me tonight. with work bright and early tomorrow morning in the city
slightly overdoing it i think, but aiming for a more cruisey week next weekkk..

♥ my thursday
well, it start off with lunch with peixin... we tried the fish and chip shop, but it was closed... so the vietnamese place near macdonalds it was!
i forgot that place was quite pricey. and was sad they didn't do the fish like they normally do =[ i have been craving it... only to be slightly disappointed.
dropped by iga to pick up some triple butter popcorn and came back ot my place to watch a double ep of criminal minds *LOVE*

anyways. peixin left (only to return an hour later because i left something in his car =[ sorry pex!)
louis dropped by to fix my computer... sat down and had a chat for a while... then he dropped me off at work (thanks louis!)
had a chat to my manager about starting work at vodafone and how i'm going to try to balance two jobs... was all good. she doesn't want me to leave. so i hope they're more flexible...
i realized i should be careful what i write on my fb because she's one of my fb friends lol xD... glad she still hasn't read my "15 things to remember when visiting reddot" ahaha.
hashan picked me up after work (since i'm parentless, he offered) so i took him for dinner at fast eddys
iced chocolate
entree sized spare ribs
yeah haven't caught up with him in agesssss. so it was pretty good, talking about whats been going on, and life in general... reminiscing our akashi trip and back in high school days. we dropped by gelare too because he was craving icecream.
so anyways. i'm in a bad mood. so i shall go read my book. and go to bed when i feel tired.

♥ random thoughts
- driving is pretty tiring. must remember to loooook at my mirror really obviously before breaking (and after). must signal 30m before turning. must look at the back screen when reversing into a driveway.
- hbio practical exam on thursday. sooooo much content =/ sooo much to memorise... morning 9am exam too =[
- bumped into jordan from highschool at broadway. zmgsh SO DID NOT RECOGNISE HIM ^^" ehehe... feel bad cauz he stopped me, and started talking to me and i just talked back unsure of who he was, until someone called him by his name and i was like *in my mind* ZMGSH ITS JORDAN! met his church friends. even correctly guessed the school of one of them

♥ in just one day...
1. i had planned to wake up and study in the morning, (which meant skipping my 10am psyc lecture) before heading to uni (in time for my 1pm, lab)... but instead i woke up at 10:40pm. ugh. if my parents were here, my mum would have called me to wake me up haha.
2. i was absolutely freaking out because it would take over an hour to get to uni - not to mention things weren't going to plan. i got ready in 20minutes, even made myself a sandwhich (dude, i havent made my own sandwhich for lunch in years, i heart my mum) and made my long walk to the bus stop.
3. i stopped by mcdonalds. i needed comfort food. large fries and apple pie it was. $3.75 all up. bargain. bad for the heart though (which ironically was partly what my test was on)
4. i ended up 'studying' on the bus. somewhat productive but not ideal strategy for cramming. sigh i was really freaking out.
5. bumped into my bf on the way to my lab. he was digging into some chips and gravey. made me feel less guilty about my mcdonalds splurge
6. had my test on locomotion and cardiovascular system. easier than i was expecting. praise God!
7. lab on urinary system. ugh, was so unprepared. will need to catch up on that stuff.
8. chem lecture. alcohols... E1/E2 and SN1/SN2 reactions. yay...
9. bus'd it back to nathans house.
10. took funny pictures on his webcam. played basketball. but after a while i got tired and sat on the swing while he played. there was also this dog there that i played ball with.
11. sma dinner. food was pretty good. nice mix of dishes. but in only really liked a few out of the ones they had.
12. met some new people. friendly. and cool.
13. caught up with some people i haven't seen in years (like literally.. years!)
14. heard a great testimony from a doctor who was pronounced dead for over an hour and miraculously came back to life.
15. good chat on the drive home with the legendary pbvn
anyways. God is awesome.
and it's 2am and i should sleep =) yay for uni at 9am! not.

♥ neglecting friendships
life gets so busy sometimessss...
i'm really fortunate to have many friends who understand my busy lifestyle...
that i dont always have time to go to this and that...
that i have commitments that eat up my time a lot...
i think that this especially applies in my life in the past year.
year 12 - hecticness... busyness.. commitments.
actually, even in yr 11, i was already doing quite a bit.
many say - such is life.
and yes it is. but i must admit, im very fortunate to have some very good friendships that don't maintain constant attention and contact to be able to remain as "friends"...
and i have some very good friends who understand my busy lifestyle and the commitments i have...
so yes i am very blessed, with such an awesome bunch of friends.
today i hit the city and cinemas with a mate that i haven't had a deep convo with in a while...
and we use to be really close.. but i guess the busyness of life made us grow apart slightly. but not to the extent that we weren't friends anymore. because i was always there for him and vice versa. but i guess there was just a lack of some d&m for the past few years - yes i do believe it was one of those friendships that i may have neglected due to my other commitments
i guess on my part, i didnt put as much time and effort into this friendship as i should have. i regret that. i do. but its great because great friends understand. they accept it. they give u ur space when u need it. they give u the time when ur busy. yet they're always there when u need a listening ear.
anyways. today was good. good time to catch up.
i've realized that sometimes i take my friends for granted.
i need to appreciate them more. i do appreciate them more. i just dont always show it i guess.
ahh i'm so blessed with such a great bunch of friends. <3

♥ catchin up with old mates
sooo its a new week!
yesterday i met up with winnie from school and did some shopping =) dropped by harbor town - but it was no where near as good as it was last friday...
then i met up with varn from primary school, and we went to yang/wayne/jacky's house.
i haven't seen those boys in AGESSSSSSS!! hahaha they're not even boys anymore. they're guys! argh they're so tall and old xP... and yes, lots change after a few yrs! but they're still awesome.
they're house is a bit............................. but then again. what do u expect from a house thats full of guys haha. but wayne/jacky's rooms were so awesome! esp their massive TVs! xP..
but yeah it was definately good to catch up with them. have some good laughs and hear about how they're doing in life. especially because so much changes in a few yrs! i still remember wen they were back in highschool xP... hahaha.
anyways yangoz cooked us dinner.. pasta! and it was pretty good. cept i didnt like the mushrooms and zuchinni... which i did tell him i didnt like the night before.. and they still choose to buy it >__> ahaha.
we watched a movie that we got from the vid shop - one missed call. hahaha it was so predictable. and not really that scary... not scary at all actually xP.. although it was meant to be -.-" haha... varn still got scared though xP! LOL. she was like hugging a pillow watching intensely and wayne or yang would like scare her at the "scary" bits.. xP ahaha.
went to fast eddys after for some desserT! and they messed up wayne & vanias drinks... but they were too scared to complain O_O.. so i did for them 8) ahahah. they got what they wanted in the end.
anyways! its december! already. TEE scores out soon. Christmas soon. National Tour soon.
