♥ Oaktree Generate Retreat

| me & chris @ global dinner groups were divided proportionately according to the world's distribution of wealth we happened to be on the wealthy table (yay!) and got to eat spaghetti bolognese! |

| some others also got to sit on a table - but their meal was just rice and some meat. |

| and a big proportion of people had to sit on the floor and share rice and soup between each other. a great activity i thought! really an eye opener to the proportion of the world that is living in poverty. and also how ignorant we can be - being 'rich'. |

♥ Nikon D3000
yes, that is right... i bought it!
after weeks of contemplating and searching for the best price...
i grabbed a lift with rob and adam to officeworks and bought the last one...
asking them to beat the price from camerahouse, of course.
i haven't had much time to play with it - it's oh so tempting though. but i have an essay due monday which i haven't started...
i've ordered a few accessories, and they should be coming in the mail hopefully in the next week or two. but until then, the camera remains at home... because i don't have a case to take it out with.

yeahhh i still don't know how to use it. but even on auto settings the photos turn out better than the standard point and shoot...
i will get better... when i actually learn how to use this thing... eventually.

♥ quick photo update
christine's wonderful parallel parking at harbor town
(i shouldn't tease her, because mines probably just as bad)
this was the day she got a parking fine at 4:27pm :( because it was restricted parking area from 4:15pm - 6:30pm
gab and i trying on sunnies in valleygirl ~ so hip...........
chris & i at uni with our nice guy / nice girl tshirts :) heart wongfu productions!
josh & i have been eating out lunch at matilda bay lately, its so pretty.
the sky, after a day at work
dropped by nigs church for his yg then went out to eat after
(notice he's wearing my ring ahaha, so he can match with josh foreveRrrrrrrr. he couldn't take it off too ahaha.)
he made me eat the chilli. i almost died.
dropped by the french cafe thingo near uni with lucy (from my maths class) inbetween class
had a choc eclair and a hot choc
oh and did you hear someone died in mirrabooka? kinda sad really =(
oh and i got pulled up by the cops while driving nigs car back from dinner, and i was totally freaking out cauz i didnt have p plates up. but found out they weren't pulling me up - they were just telling me to uturn because the road was blocked xD....... but then i stalled in front of them =(... and they laughed at me.
the end. for now =)

so anyways, today is sunday, the first sunday of february to be exact - which in other words is vision sunday. we had community lunch together as a church, with a sausage sizzle... and whoever made that potato salad, did a really good job hey. it was nice :)
so the rest of my day has been sorta cleaning my room. still in the process of it btw. and i found this note. i don't remember why he sent it. there's no date, which is kinda sad. but all the same, it's quite cute.
also spent some time making a little collage for the family computer using photofunia and pain.. lovelove.
