♥ the end of the summer holidays
uni begins again tomorrow! second year! only five years to go... hehe.
had a great weekend - spent it down in mandurah for ry's 21st. it was really good to get away. and just not have to think about work. and not have my laptop with me to do anything work or uni related. we didn't do too much, we weren't there for long but it was relaxing!
on the way down we went to maccas. when we got to mandurah we went to this japanese place that had a high urbanspoon rating. then we went to our apartments and spent some time relaxing in the pool and spa. then we went crabbing and came home and cooked dinner :) pasta (and salad)! i was quite proud of our pasta, it tasted good! or was it because i was just really hungry? haha. it was kinda cool to go all domestic.
currently wearing OPI Warm & Fozzie from the muppet range
I find OPI nail polish colours are so unique. This one is like a gold/bronze with like tones of red through it. I love metallic / glitter / shimmer nail polishes. And i generally prefer silver over gold tones.
But yes! I don't know what it is about it, but OPI nail polishes are great. Not just colour wise, but easy to put on too - quick to dry and easy to apply. I think I'm just going to go through all my OPIs over the next few months. I've accumulated about 13 different OPI colours from all the mini sets i have. I still have my first set - tiny takeouts from the hongkong collection that I got in like first year and the polish is still in great condition. And I think with duty free prices, they're a great investment!
Anyways enough about my current obsession with OPI. Uni starts tomorrow. At 8am in fact. I should probably go to sleep shouldn't I?

♥ Nail repair
Man, I really hope this stuff works... my nails have been shocking lately... they are so bad, I refuse to leave them without colour because then you can see how bad they are!
And phew I did some shopping around, some places were selling it for double the price -_____- jippy!

♥ Colour
I love this colour hey
might stick the maybelline one on the to-buy list.
I've been using my other rimmel one, the teal-ish green one. and it's gotten to the half way mark, and GRR. hate when that happens because it's so difficult to useee because the brush doesn't reach the bottom of the bottle!!!
PAIN. why do they design it to be like that?

♥ happy
today i am rather happy at a few things...
firstly my infection's healing has progressed quite nicely. forcing myself to stay at home was a bit annoying. but at least i got some study done. the scabs are slowly peeling off one by one (eww sounds so disgusting haha) - i hope i'm not left with any scars
secondly, ryeei bought me some new nailpolish, and it's the same colour as (or at least, quite close to) my new handbag that i bought in sydney. *insert big cheesy smile here*. because i bought that bag because i quite liked the colour haha.
thirdly, today i was sitting in my room doing umat, and started to crave for some banana bread/cake. so i got up and went into the kitchen, saw this thing that looked like bread on the bench, then realized it was actually some kind of cake. i took the glad wrap off and IT SMELT LIKE BANANA. zmgsh xD it was banana cake. HEHE.
anyways :) thats it.

♥ random thoughts
- driving is pretty tiring. must remember to loooook at my mirror really obviously before breaking (and after). must signal 30m before turning. must look at the back screen when reversing into a driveway.
- hbio practical exam on thursday. sooooo much content =/ sooo much to memorise... morning 9am exam too =[
- bumped into jordan from highschool at broadway. zmgsh SO DID NOT RECOGNISE HIM ^^" ehehe... feel bad cauz he stopped me, and started talking to me and i just talked back unsure of who he was, until someone called him by his name and i was like *in my mind* ZMGSH ITS JORDAN! met his church friends. even correctly guessed the school of one of them

naw, my boyfriend leaves to america in 2 days, *sadface*...
i will miss him dearly, but it will also be a good time to rediscover myself.
not to say i've lost myself because of him... but maybe i haven't had as much time as i use to.
since i finished my exams (on monday), i've got quite a bit done...
got my proof of age card done... still working through getting my passport done... i went to my 18yo follow up with raine study... watched oceans 13 at josh's house... went to sizzlers for dinner... worked thurs night / sat morn... went ice skating...
and tomorrow will consist of church, family lunch at my place, then family dinner at his place... ( i think )
on another note.. i ended up getting shoessss... there wasn't really any pretty air maxes left, and the superstar inserts had really ugly coloured inserts O_O im talking like green stripes and purple bubbles...... yess... so i just got these, nice and simple. (shh, they're guy shoes...)
health wise, i'm not feeling too flash, i've been getting stomach pains in the past 24 hours, and i'm not sure why. it's not that time of the month (even though i've been super moody)... it might be the sizzlersss... doh.
i have quite a bit of a headache now too, so i might nap for while... before going for a walk (if my feet can handle it because they're in pain from ice skating and its really windy outside...) and cleaning my room... and still filling up that box for josh to take with him. oh and i need to order twloha and relient k tonight... *makes mental list of things to do*
oh on a finishing note, quite a few people came through reddot today and were pregnant... i felt like asking them when they were due, but thought i'd probably sound a bit freaky / weird. and then there were all these cute kids ice skating as well. hehe, they skated better than my bf... xD
p.s. my nailpolish is chipping... sigh, and i thought rimmel would be descent =( i'm getting use to the black though, it was really freaky at first hehe.

♥ walksies
today i went for a walk. it was the first walk i've been on... for a long time.
not just any walk - like the kinda walk i take to the bus stop... or when i'm shopping... but the kinda walk you take, just to do that. walk.
i guess i kinda left the house a bit late ~ 5:10pm...
its amazing how much your neighborhood changes ... i've lived in my home all my life... and i haven't really taken the time to walk around it, for a while now... i use to a lot though, when i was a kid.
so while i was walking i looked around... i saw the new road name signs... i saw the clouds in the sky... the new sign near the pathway about preserving biodiversity...
my mind wandered and thought about many different things...
and then it was already starting to get dark (arghh, i miss you daylight savings)
and i had to head home. so that was the end of my walking adventure.
p.s. i painted my nails black... (my boyfriend has been wanting me to for a while now)
