haha, i love how they put "Note: No children were injured in the filming of this video"
i love church. worship was just so fresh. you just forgot the unimportant troubles of life. and lift it all up. and just remember and focus on what is important.
i was standing there in worship thinking to myself, i wish i could come to this everyday.
but the fact is, i can. worship doesn't need a drumkit, bass guitar, keyboard and a lead singer.
there's windows media player. youtube...
but really... you don't even need the music.

been listening to mj too.. must go watch his movie when holidays come around...
just helped dad redo his resume and edit his cover letter (which might i say was in need of some epic editing). i am such a good daughter 0=]... the things u do when u procrastinate study. ahaha.

♥ weird guy in chem class
the guy in my chem class sitting two rows ahead of me...
yeah he turned on his mac book and as his bg had a picture of three japanese girls doing japanesey poses.
let me just point out he's not japanese. or asian really =/
then he started watching a dvd about japanese girls running on the beach and playing in a pool...
it has subtitles.
now they're playing beach games in the sand in their bathers.
wth?
awkward.

here's a better picture i took around 3/4 way through the lecture.
i found out the show was called morning musume.
and it's actually a band..
and yes when i saw their music vid (which the guy in my chem class was watching towards the end of the lecture) it reminded me so much of balloons by dbsk xD that kinda novelty.
which definately took me down memoryy lane with lauf ;) will post more later
off to work i go!

♥ i'm okay.
i am okay.
i slept yesterday, eventually, surprisingly. but tonight will be harder.
i fell asleep to music... that will have to be my substitute for the next seven days.
my mind still isn't clear. i still have lots of things on it, jumbled, confusion, anger, disgust, hurt. at myself, more than anything.
'still' by hillsong is playing on my mp3, just as i finished that sentence above it was like "Find rest my soul... In Christ alone... Know his power... In quietness and trust...."
the weather isn't helping my mood, but at least i'm stuck at home, hopefully doing something constructive such as study.
i have a feeling i'll be constantly blogging, so i apoligise for the double triple or quadriple posts in advance.

♥ michael jackson
today, michael jackson passed away...it's been all over the media. plastered everywhere. tv. news. facebook. blogs.
and people are quick to get sick of it... which is kinda sad i rekon, considering that it affects so many lives...
the movie that your going to watch on sunday, or the hairdressers place you are at now, how bored you are on this friday night... are all such little things that will be easily forgotten in the next week.
the death of this pop star? will remain in the history books for years to come.
i remember when i was a kid i use to like to watch those tv shows that tried to answer so many questions when it came to mj. how did his skin turn white. are the allegations true. did he get nose surgery. what happened to the marriage with his wife. why did he hold his child over the balcony. why does he live in a massive mansion with a massive backyard playground with supercool rides. why does he do that. why does he do this.
it was always a neverending line of questions. and i hated how the media would portray such things at times. its sad that the minds of many are so easily influenced by the media. that they rely on the accuracy of the media.
the molestation charges were dropped. doesn't out justice system base it on "innocent until proven guilty"...? oh but of course, many decided to make up their own minds about him... without knowing him, but judging anyways.
anyways. i'm slightly annoyed at some people today. the people (and/or) media who focused on his "accusations" rather than his talent. the people (and/or) media who aren't being very sensitive to his family, friends or fans (just because they dont know him personally... doesnt mean he didn't mean something significant in one's life)
a life was lost today. a life that influenced decades of music. a life that inspired many. a life that left so many memories. a life that played a role (however small) in many lives...
and the least you could do, is respect that life.
sighsigh i'm so dissapointed in you......
