♥ my bf thinks...
according to my dear boyfriend..
when i wear shorts, i look like i've been "stepped on" (by a giant or something)
because i look squished, aka short and fat =[
he also thinks my mother has better taste in shoes than me
thank honey.

♥ random rambling
i got my secondary education in australia.
to those, outside of australia, it seems like i've got a solid education foundation.
to those who live around my suburbs, they hear the name of my school, and think otherwise.
buildings are made to have a song foundation. structures are built to be strong. and it isn't until it begins to collapse, that you realize the foundation wasn't as strong as you thought.
the tacoma narrow bridge collapsed due to the drastic wind causing the structure to resonate.
or maybe you own a house.. and when the storms come.. your fence collapses. your windows shatter to pieces. maybe the roof even caves in. your home. your safe place. collapses. it wasn't as strong as you thought. staying in that house, may harm you rather than protecting you like you thought it would.
when you pay good money for a pair of shoes, you expect quality. you may even have this illusion that they are, until you begin to wear them out, and realize, what you thought were good shoes, were in fact crap.
or maybe you get conned into one of those infomericals. the ones that sell you this and that for three payments of $29.95. the demo looks so good. you even get a 30 day trial period where you can return it if it doesn't work. for that first month it's great. then it's quality seems to get dimmer. you notice the cheaper stores beginning to sell imitations of the same product and begin to think that they could probably potentially do the same job. and it is then you realized u got jipped.
so why? why are things never like you imagined it would be? why do things change so rapidly? why are we often in this illusion where you think you have the strongest foundation and the perfect pair of shoes... when really it's nothing like you thought you had?
and WHY do i have to have a test in 13 hours and another 24 hours after that. gah.
P.S. music has been added to this blog, and i have purposely made it so you can't stop it unless u mute ur speakers. sooo... happy listening!

♥ more shopping!
today i went to watch 500 days of summer. unforunately my boyfriend fell asleep through it. it was okay, not really what i was expecting... and uber corney ending. ahaha. and now i feel bad for dragging the bf along to it, sorry bub!
well i went shopping after. i was only meant to get my boots, but there was a get a second pair of shoes for 50% deal.... and i couldn't find anything so i wasn't going to bother getting a second pair, until i asked the lady if those shoes 'over there' were included. and surprisingly she said yes, i thought the whole brand of them were excluded from the sale, but it seemed it was only a certain collection of them.
ended up getting theseee...
and yes, they're not what i usually get, so it should require some getting use to.
i already have a pair from this brand... these oness...
but that flower thing digs into my foot and it hurts =[
anyways. the boots i got, i've had my eye on for a while, and was totally heartbroken when i found they had sold out at the mirrabooka store. then found a pair in harbor town, but with no size.. then found a pair at the city store in a size 9 and got uber excited =]
they're actually really high boots though, not high in the heel but high as in.. high up to the knee. i dont think i really noticed when i tried it on at the shop because of my jeanss sorta pushed it down.. but when i tried it again at home i'm like hmmmmm......
anyways, bought a new pair of stockings from myer since i ripped a hole in my other ones.
ohoh and i was walking through carillion when i saw a new shop!
it's called factorie.. and it's actually pretty cheap. i ended up getting some simple long sleeve shirts (which i've been looking for, for a while now)
but i was slightly disappointed when i asked the lady what stores it was affiliated with and she said cotton on. and yes, my experience with cotton on quality is meh.
but it didn't seem too bad, like the quality of the shirts i got. i think it's a more urban (or maybe even surfy/skatey) style shop and i'm hoping they don't make their clothes from the same materials/factory (but the shirt says made in Bangladesh? soo.. i dont think they do actually) i'll let u know how the quality is.
otherwise it's a pretty cool shop, nice layout... but yes, not a fan of some of their designs as of yet. hmm.
anyways that is all for now. must study. hbio test wed, stat test thurs. argh!

♥ toe cleavage
to be honest, i didn't even know this term existed. it's quite amusing i think. and i was always one who thought that if you could see your toes then the shoes don't fit... but supposingly that is not the case every time.
supposingly some shoes are specifically made to show off 'toe cleavage' ahahaha.
my waynecooper heels show toe cleavage =[ its because they're pointy and narrowish and cut pretty low... and i'm not too sure if i would be confident wearing them so you could see [aka not with pants]
anyways... i think it's pretty funny they even have a whole blog dedicated to it. and like... some of those pictures on there... i am pretty sure the shoes are too small............
check it out: http://toe-cleavage.blogspot.com/
and to my lovely readers.. yay or nay or don't really care?
and it would be nice if u left ur initials with ur comment =P because this could cause some very interesting conversations!

♥ yum! wayne cooper.
it amazes me how much shoes can make a girls heart melt.
it also amazes how MUCH people can spend on shoes $_$
hundreds. maybe even thousands of dollars. for just one pair.
brandedness = $$$$
and as much as i think really expensive stuff is overrated,
i think it's silly how my student paid 30 bucks for ballet flats from spendless, when she could have gotten a nicer pair from betts for the same price. yes i said it. those shops that claim to sell "cheaper" aren't always cheaper. esp when the other more expensive stores have AWESOME sales.
it kinda reminds me places like target or kmart or even bigW... they are actually pretty expensive for what they are...
hmmm anyways. i went through basement at myer in the city today. and there wasn't much. as i was leaving i dropped by the shoe section. and found these sachi shoes which looked very similar to my sisters but in a different colour. so i took a pic and asked her if she wanted them.
and then as i was waiting for her reply i went around to the other side to look at the rest of the shoes on sale. and found theseeeeeeeeeeee.
yes, wayne cooper. eek. I'm becoming branded. but you will never guess how much they were.
last pair. just fits. shiny!
it's such a classic shoe, the black, shiny, point toe heeled shoes... can be used for businessy stuff or going out stuff... and i admit, it's something my sister would wear. too bad it only came in my size :)
actually i remember once in betts they had ones like these from zu on sale for 50, and i wanted to get them, but never ended up doing so......
but now i have these :) for less than 50 too ;)

@ metro city
my first time to metros, and i must say, i like it much better than the leedy. lol. it might be the fact that i was surrounded by asian people my age (some of which i knew, or at least knew of), rather than random 25yo + males trying to dance with you.
*shiver*
i think its hilarious how guys try to pick up at clubs. there was this one guy who just would bump into girls and introduce himself, shake their hand and then ask for their number. according to christine, she's seen him doing it the last time she came to metros.
and then there were the other guys who attempt to discreetly (sometimes not even discreetly) try to dance with you... it was quite entertaining being really cold to them and just staring at them with this look that screams ' get away from me you freak '
anyways, camera roll time.
my shoes which i bought fri morn x)
steph was right when she warned me not to wear white shoes, because they get trampled on!
some of the "entertainment" of the night. at first it was pretty cool, when they were like hanging upside down on the hole without using their hands. then... it just sorta got boring....
this was around.... 11:20pm. it was SO MUCH WORSE at 12:15pm. i almost suffocated on that dancefloor.
anyways, i was a good girl, left the place at 12:30pm :)
and no i did not get drunk and no i am not a party animal, and i really doubt i will become one either...
dancing was fun! feet hurting like crap wasn't.
i kinda dont know what i would have done if christine and gab weren't there x) it might have been awkward cauz most of the girls had their bfs there... except me! *COUGH stares at my bf COUGH*
=) jokes. i had fun without him.
and my parents were pretty cool about it. they trust me i think. mum has said several times "its okay because i know you won't go pick up bad boys there because you have josh" ... ahaha x) and she was like warning me abt drugs and getting drunk and all these other things thats 'associated with clubbing', haha. it was kinda funny.
that is all. for now. toodles.
