♥ yum! wayne cooper.
it amazes me how much shoes can make a girls heart melt.
it also amazes how MUCH people can spend on shoes $_$
hundreds. maybe even thousands of dollars. for just one pair.
brandedness = $$$$
and as much as i think really expensive stuff is overrated,
i think it's silly how my student paid 30 bucks for ballet flats from spendless, when she could have gotten a nicer pair from betts for the same price. yes i said it. those shops that claim to sell "cheaper" aren't always cheaper. esp when the other more expensive stores have AWESOME sales.
it kinda reminds me places like target or kmart or even bigW... they are actually pretty expensive for what they are...
hmmm anyways. i went through basement at myer in the city today. and there wasn't much. as i was leaving i dropped by the shoe section. and found these sachi shoes which looked very similar to my sisters but in a different colour. so i took a pic and asked her if she wanted them.
and then as i was waiting for her reply i went around to the other side to look at the rest of the shoes on sale. and found theseeeeeeeeeeee.
yes, wayne cooper. eek. I'm becoming branded. but you will never guess how much they were.
last pair. just fits. shiny!
it's such a classic shoe, the black, shiny, point toe heeled shoes... can be used for businessy stuff or going out stuff... and i admit, it's something my sister would wear. too bad it only came in my size :)
actually i remember once in betts they had ones like these from zu on sale for 50, and i wanted to get them, but never ended up doing so......
but now i have these :) for less than 50 too ;)

♥ branded stuff
ohmygosh. so today at church alvin gave me an oroton box as a late present for my birthday. and it sorted resulted in a few of us joking around about how the box gets your hopes up, because i assumed that it was just the box, and not really anything oroton in it.
but i was wrong =/ LOL and now i feel bad. it really did have an oroton wallet in it, and its pretttttttttyyyyy!
anyways im really happy, because ive been wanting to replace the wallet my sister gave me for my last birthday, because even though it's 'guess'... it's not very pretty, plus its kinda big and bulky. but i use it, because she gave it to me, and i endeavour to be a nice sister... and she did try to get something that i liked.
but the thing is, that she thought just because it was 'guess' that i would like it. and this is why she was so wrong...
this brings me to the topic of branded stuff.
and how some branded stuff... are really expensive. and really nice. and thats all cool. its the kinda things u dream of =) the kinda things that would make u really satisfied if u got it. but u never buy... because its so $_$
but then u get the kinda branded stuff.. that is really ugly O__O... but many buy it anyways? and u know, it's this kinda aspect of branded things that confuse me.
i remember faintly one day, i was walking through david jones with a friend. and they pointed out a bag to me. it was like $3k or something. and it was hideous. well at least i thought so anyways. but there is probably one old rich lady out there who will love this bag and pay the $3k for it...
...
haha. another thing is like david jones. when their shoes are on sale... i remember picking up one of them, as i was walking through the store. and it was on sale. like 50-75% off or something. but it was still like 400 bucks!
oh oh. and the other day i was working at looksmart right, and i passed by david jones and they were having this make up thing with some high end class guy - napoleon perdis? something like that. and seriously... people paid $500 to get their make up done. $500!!!!!!!!! i bet more than half of them didn't even have a special occasion that night. And yes, i just checked the karrinyup newsletter and it said it was redeemable on products. but really.. $500... ... ... i don't know how so many can justify spending that much?
geez. i think i'll just stay out of david jones... really. i dont know where people can find the money for all these kinda things.
and really, i get such a satification from finding bargains and going sale shopping. i wonder that if u turn rich, u turn into not caring about price anymore?
ahh but such money could be spent on so much better things.
anyways. s2 my new wallet.. my sister will be so jealous =)
