♥ VHA Mid Year Party
VHA Mid Year party was last night!
Definately felt better than the last party and this could be due to several reasons
#1. Having worked at Vodafone for longer (the first party I went to, I had only worked for like a month)
#2. Knowing more people (from other stores and functions etc) and hence being able to talk to more people
#3. Feeling more comfortable introducing yourself to new people
#4. RINA CAME (she got the job at the one in the city!!)
#5. Music was good, free flowing alcohol was also good
Got some awesome pictures that night!!! I had my blue contacts on (not the aussie flag ones haha)!
Totally felt the consequences this morning of not drinking any water last night =/... woke up at like 6am dehydrated and had trouble falling back asleep only to wake up again to get to work at 8:45am.. lovely......
It was my first time at the Luxe bar, and it's actually pretty nice there, cept the drums were really loud (it was quite odd they played music through speakers but had one guy playing drums to the beat of the music loL!), and the place was quite small but then again I didn't realize there was a downstairs. nice but small i reckonnnn

♥ his 19th
i was meant to head out tonight to a high school friend's birthday party and a dinner with the girls
but i've opted to stay at home.
after getting home just before midnight (just in time for my driving curfew *grr red p plates*) and spending a couple of hours finishing a birthday letter / email... and another half an hour or so on the phone with the boyfriend himself.
i could barely wake up this morning for work at 8:45am.
so yesterday was my boyfriend's party. and you could say i was pretty worn out / tired / meh-ish. i didn't get hyped up about singstar, pictionary, poker... i didn't have the energy to.
i probably should have put in more effort to have fun but i guess you could say i was just drained and not in the mood for the hyperness and excited that surrounded me.
however, intercept uno saves the day. too bad i had to go home soon after we started playing.
so i sound like a pretty bad girlfriend right now don't i?

so anyways, today is sunday, the first sunday of february to be exact - which in other words is vision sunday. we had community lunch together as a church, with a sausage sizzle... and whoever made that potato salad, did a really good job hey. it was nice :)
so the rest of my day has been sorta cleaning my room. still in the process of it btw. and i found this note. i don't remember why he sent it. there's no date, which is kinda sad. but all the same, it's quite cute.
also spent some time making a little collage for the family computer using photofunia and pain.. lovelove.

♥ popcorn & foam
yesterday i tried triple butter popcorn.
yes thats right. triple.
it was lovely. and yes it was one of those microwave packets but they taste sooo gooooddd..
so yesterday i did end up going to the party. it was a foam party.
yes. that's right, foam!
it was pretty cool huh! but very short lived fun kinda thing though. but a very different and original kinda party.
it was fun, but long and tiring. foam can only entertain for so long (the machine stopped), and i only knew so many people. and it was very grouped already so it wasn't so easy to meet new people and engage in a convo, when they're all sorta in their own groups.
after being convered in foam (yes even my hair) thanks to the tbc boys (which i should stop calling tbc but rather lh now)... it was kinda sticky. like it dried and it felt like ( as josh put it ) "someone had licked all over you"... err yes. and how he knows how that feels - i do not know.
i ended up sleeping til 1pm the next day, skipped church, =X. i had some questions for pastor but maybe i'll email him.
must dig into some hardcore study today. sorta was thinking about it today as i was lying in bed, not wanting to get up. there is so much content to get through... for all my units. and exams are rapidly approaching. i technically don't even have a study break because my hbio exam in on that thurs and psyc is on the sat. boo!
anyways. time to wake up the boyfriend from his 10 minute nano nap. 'til next time.

dude, i want my bridesmaids to be as cool as these girls. they did such an awesome job. i loved it. the decorations. the FOOD. the games. it was such great fun.
the food was soooooooooo gooodddd
isn't my toilet paper wedding dress awesome?
ahaha. i even have a RING, and DARTS for my dress, and SHOES.
i heart trace. i can't believe she's getting married!!!! i am super excited for her wedding.

well, it's been a busy (and somewhat tiring) few days. today has been pretty chilled, fathers day. half way cleaning my room now, even though i should be studying. for some reason i'm in the cleaning mood, so better make the most of it while it lasts x)

♥ eighteen
so i'm eighteen!
adulthood huh. i had a prettyyy stressful week leading up to my birthday and even on my birthday.
my birthday party - i'll blog about another day. you will probably find the pictures on facebook (once i get around to uploading them)
i love organising things, but yes, i admit... sometimes i organise too much. sometimes i do overload myself. silly of me huh. but i always think i can handle it. also sillly of me.
my birthday was an excuse to slack off, go out and relax. it's time to hit back into the books.
and clean. oh gosh. my floor is covered in birthday presents hhaha. i spent last night opening them all =) and this morning i spent reading through the thirty thousand words josh had put into thirty letters that he had spent thirty night <3>
i'll probably blog more later. but right now i REALLY need to get into those assignments

♥ parents are back
ahhh. so my parents are back
and today i had my first home cooked meal (cooked by parents) since they left.
man it tasted good. (not saying that my sister was a bad cook... just that its not the same...)
so yes, my parents came back naggy. really. my mum was not happy that i didn't tell her when my mid sem exam was and my study break (or else she would have left during my study break, and not during my exam - which is really sweet of her, since she wants to be home during my exams to cook me food while i study haha)
i'm also happy that my parents are back, not only to cook me healthier dinners but to pick me up from places. (not to say that i use them, but because they weren't here... i ended up sleeping over a friend's place.. and i ended up having to take the bus most of the time - which ate up lots of time and hence less time to do more constructive stuff like study)
oh gosh, my washing piled up too. i was going to do it on that monday... but was sick the whole day and ended up sleeping for like most of it. so instead, my mum came home and did all my washing at like 2am (isn't she sweet? <3)
soo i've got lots of work to do this week, and i'm glad my parents are back to keep me in line. it also means i don't have to spend time feeding the dog, playing with the dog, and looking after the house / chores etc. and more time doing work, which i should be doing.
debt wise, i still owe my mum lots of money. it's true that she doesn't care when i pay her back and that i shouldn't be working in expense to my studies... so its important i maintain my studies while working to pay it off...
i love my parents <3!
on another note, went to a good party last night. it made me feel good to know that there are still good parties out there where u can have fun, without the need for alcohol at all. if only everyone knew that still existed!
i was more hyper/crazy than usual. must have been the food i ate that day. it only consisted of : chicken and swt corn soup, vietnamese spring rolls, chicken pattie, samosas, bbq chips, chicken chips, few lollies, lotsssssssss of pepsi, some lychee bbt, a taste of lemonade and two slices of cake (zmgsh xD fatty to the max)
zzzzz.. thank goodness my parents are back.
time to hit the books!

♥ everyone turns 18
sooo.. i have a few 18ths lined up in the next month or so!
i just came back from one... haha.
it was good to catch up with good mates i haven't seen in so long.
good to laugh and chat~
im actually quite awake atm!
it might be the V i had.. but i left it at work! doh~
get to slp in 2moro xD i need the extra zzZZz..
oh today i heard and saw a couple.
two people. each one i knew. but never imagined them together!
hehe. i was suprised & shocked xD... a state of disbelief.
it took me a while to absorb it.
thats two couples this year that have taken me by surprise!
its cute though xD
