♥ ice cream in bread
haha, so i was watching the amazing race and one of their tasks in sg was to sell 25 icecreams in bread... and i was like... wth man xD no one will buy it
little did i know.. ITS AN ASIAN THING!
AAHHAHAA. gosh made me laugh so much.
and when i went to tell josh he was like "it's normal??!"
so maybe i'm not asian enough... i haven't been back in like 7 years okayy..........
but...
AHAHHAHAHAA...
it's like a wannabe giant sandwich (man those things are good...)

♥ dt + green tea ice cream = a happy dt
green tea icecream
YUM!
i blame the girls for getting me into it..
but i found out the japanese restaurant in broadway sells it for $2.50 and it was really creamy hey.
and then the next day i went looking at kongs also in broadway, and they sell an italian version, which was really nice also for $2.50
and i remember last time i went with a few of the girls to that asian restaurant on the corner and got some there to.
eventually, i would have tried all the green tea available in broadway! that shall be my mission for the rest of the semester. should be pretttyyy easy :)
so anyways today i had my first maths test, and i really did a lot of practice questions in preparation, so i felt good with the amount of work i did. alas i did not study the theory aspect however.....
so i made that part up, but writing something is better than nothing (as long as what i wrote doesn't make me sound stupid =/...) so hopefully i still end up with a decent mark..
now i must admit, i am getting slightly stressed with my workload. and i feel sorta stupid about it, because at this point of my life, i am actually not doing that much (outside uni and work) in comparison to my high school days. so these stress levels are not what i would expect. i think it has to do with motivation, rather than just a time issue.
so it's mid semester break next week... and despite being a nice holiday for most, unfortunately that is not the case with myself =[...
it will consist of a lot of easter related events / church services, two lifegroups, two birthdays, quite a few days of work, yoty state finals, and of course studying for all my tests and doing all my assignments.
two tests (psyc & stats) and one assignment (stats) due the first week back, another assignment (psyc lab report) due the week after... not the mention more assignments and tests to finish the month of may.
SIGH.
oh and did i mention? my parents have departed on their little adventure... leaving me with my sister. and you might all be thinking that this is great and tthat i love it, but really when my parents are gone, my sister is just as (if not more) protective than my parents... GREAT!
and she always leaves me to do all the watering of dads plants, and feeding the dog and all that....... -.-"
anyways, i should stop procrastinating and complaining and do something useful.
sigh, could really do with some green tea icecream right about now...

♥ new people turn into friends
♦ the other day i emailed my mum telling her...
i got a three & vodafone group interview offer today.
and her response?
It should be UMAT interview instead!
♦ in the car today we were talking about uni fees and i was like "but my course isn't that expensive anyways" and my mother said my science degree is rubbish. and that i screwed up. thanks mum. you make me wanna study SO hard for my exams... ...
♦ ry's webcam has awesome functions. reminds me of a mac. i like it.
♦ if i think about it... i met An (right) by purposely sitting next to him in the first week of uni, and then introducing myself. i remember being like "WOAHH I HAVE A MATE WHO'S NAME IS AN NGUYEN TOO" then i found out he was ALSO vietnamese, left handed and plays dota and yes, got a tad freaked out xD.
♦ i met victa... during chemistry. again, first week of uni, i was doing the whole "sitting next to new people and introducing myself" thing... and sat next to Rina. and next to Rina was Victa... haha. I remember Victa asking Rina if she knew me x) because we were just talking here and there. And since... xD we've been sitting next to each other in chemistry all year!
♦ there is a guy called josh in my chemistry class. he's friends with chuan. and he has cool hair. once he wasn't sitting with us and i asked chuan once "where's your friend with the cool hair!" and he looked at me funny. haha.
♦ i have done 2 chapters out of 9 for psychology. T____T... but i feel like i really absorbed everything in those two chapters.
♦ vodaphone/three interview tomorrow....... =/ hmm... *dislike* group interviews.
♦ shouldn't have worn it today, just made me think about it even more to the point where i couldn't take it.
♦ heading out with the girls tonight for mels' bday... :) must reward myself for all the hbio study i've done... *green tea icecreammmmmmmmmmm* yuM!
♦ i think i have decided what my new blog link will be... was listening to a song and it sorta clicked :) will have to tweak it a bit because it's already taken *shakes fist*

♥ painnnnn...
argh i could hardly get up this morning.
the fact i havent played baddy in 9 months, the suddenly played somewhat "intensely" on monday... is really taking its toll on me.
but it was good catching up on sleep, considering i havent been gettin much of it lately! due to organisin this leaders thingo we're doing... ugh those invites took agess to print at 2am.
anyways. today was pretty lazyish. but i was in pain anyways... so i couldnt really do too much.
downloaded all the camera pics to my lappy the copied it to harddrive.. did some packing for leaveres (since im leaving 2moro!!) and yeahh did more organisin for the dinner.
heading out tonight for some icecream with some of the guys from church. which will be a good break. just to chill out. which i havent had much of a chance to do..
leavers 2moro. til sunday. will be crazy. but fun. but also very tiring.. hopefully my body would heal by then so i can handle it.. or i might find myself just lazying around for most of the day.. boo.
anyways. mikey told me the w595 is coming out on three =D.. very excited & happy. means i wont have to get it outright ^^... such a lovely phone... esp the red & white one =)... *dreamy look*
yeah i was looking up like other SE phones.. couldnt really find one that i liked to be honest... and then i was on the sony website when i say the w595... <333333
i hope it comes out soon, pref before my cap ends, so i can just switch caps and get it..
yeah i wasnt sure if i should upgrade from my 29 cap.. but i seem to keep overspending and going over it. so i guess i might as well... $__$
kinda happy cauz i got paid for the weekend ^^... $180... for 8 hours on sat, and 3 hrs on sun at reddot xP... comes down to around $13 an hour? something like that.. not bad i guess.. especially for reddot ^^... its kinda tiring though. but then again, mayb its cauz i havent worked in SO long.
the manager lady wants to train me up! maybe even to supervisor sorta level... she wants me to be her support sorta person. which will be good for experience i guess. i dont know i could handle working there for so long though.. atm, the people who work there are realllyyyy hard to work with. some of them are okay though, otherwise some are just plain lazyyy.
but at the moment its convenient - the hours, transport, pay etc... so yeah. we'll see how it goes
anyways. i better head off. going out for icecream with the guyss from churchh. haha will be fun. kinda funny how i get along with older people so well. even though they're like 10 yrs older than me. i guess its handy. the ability to communicate with people of all ages. =]
